Position Overview This is a skilled position requiring the individual to effectively schedule and dispatch material orders from customers. This position requires speaking with customers on the phone, making good customer relations skills essential and requires a basic knowledge of the construction industry.Wage Range:
$20- 25 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Knowledge of the aggregate and construction industry is preferred. 2 years' experience in order taking and aggregate dispatch is preferred. Work Requirements Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is necessary. Previous work within the construction/ready mix industry is preferred. Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have a strong working knowledge of Database software.
