Role Responsibilities:

Dispatch and manage drivers hauling refrigerated freight throughout the Southeast, making real-time adjustments to meet delivery schedules Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments while maintaining temperature-sensitive load requirements Communicate professionally via phone, ELD systems, and dispatch software Remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and drivers Assist drivers with routing, directions, and delivery site information Calculate transit times and ensure compliance with hours-of-service (HOS) regulations Accurately enter and manage load details, including temperature settings and customer specifications Monitor shipments in transit to ensure on-time performance and product integrity Handle high call volumes while multitasking across drivers, customers, and internal team members Coordinate driver schedules, time-off requests, and availability Review driver logs, timecards, and load documentation daily

About You Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience preferred Minimum 1 year of fleet manager experience preferred High school diploma or GED required Familiarity with Southeast regional routes is highly desirable Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Strong computer skills, including typing, dispatch software, and internet navigation Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment About Us At Rowland Transportation, no two days are the same.
