Job Description

Description Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building materials company, is looking for a responsible Dispatch Coordinator. The Dispatch Coordinator will assist with all administrative duties for the lumberyard dispatch department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily workflow, communications, and operational activities between internal departments, vendors, and customers to ensure efficient business operations. Serve as a liaison between customers and coordinators, facilitating timely communication and issue resolution.

Manage inventory control and replenishment processes to maintain optimal stock levels. Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, consistently maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Assist with the receipt and processing of purchase orders (POs). Monitor and support delivery confirmation activities to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Coordinate the procurement of materials, including lumber, hardware, and other required products. Schedule and enter customer orders for next-day delivery in accordance with established operational guidelines. Review and verify margin requirements to ensure compliance with company pricing and profitability standards prior to delivery. Process invoicing for orders upon shipment from the yard, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain professional email correspondence and collaborate effectively with coordinators across multiple locations and departments. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs and operational objectives.
Experience Required:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Five (5) years of administrative or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & accounting type programs Good work ethic and passion to excel in the work environment Highly detailed with excellent organizational skills Fluent communication skills Ability to multi-task Efficient and effective problem-solving skills
