$15-$18 per hour, depending on experience We are hiring for our client, a fast-growing logistics and transportation company specializing in hauling services for construction, landscaping, or general freight. We are committed to delivering reliable and efficient services to our clients while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized ticket clerk to support our dispatch team in their efforts to coordinate and schedule hauling operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for entering/processing dispatch tickets to support the dispatch team as they dispatch drivers, managing routes, communicating with clients and field teams, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with team, drivers, customers, and internal teams via phone, text, and dispatch software Maintain accurate records and service documentation Handle service requests, emergencies, and driver issues promptly and professionally Collaborate with the dispatch team and customers Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, email) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Schedule:
Expected hours 40 per week (Monday through Friday, 7-4 • ) hours subject to shift slightly based on needs of the dispatch team.
