In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage towing operations efficiently, ensuring timely response to roadside assistance requests, vehicle recoveries, and fleet management needs. Your proactive communication skills and attention to detail will help streamline dispatch processes, optimize route planning, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our logistics network, supporting safe and effective vehicle recovery operations across diverse locations. Responsibilities Receive and prioritize incoming towing requests via multi-line phone systems, radio communication, and digital platforms. Utilize towing management systems such as Oracle Towing Management Coordinate with drivers, fleet management teams, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to assign appropriate tow trucks based on location, vehicle type, and urgency. Monitor GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to optimize routes, ensure timely arrivals, and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including data entry into SyteLine and other logistics software. Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams using phone etiquette and clear verbal communication to provide updates or resolve issues swiftly. Support shipping & receiving processes related to vehicle recovery parts or equipment as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within towing or logistics environments; familiarity with towing operations is a plus. Strong analysis skills for route optimization, fleet management, and problem-solving in fast-paced situations. Proficiency with towing management systems Knowledge of GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and towing planning principles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a multi-line phone system environment. Effective communication skills with professional phone call management and customer service etiquette. Ability to perform data entry accurately with typing speeds that support efficient record keeping.
