Job Description

Overview We're hiring a hybrid Operations / Dispatcher to keep our field teams running smoothly. This role combines daily dispatch/scheduling with hands-on operational leadership—supporting field technicians, customers, vendors, and internal admin processes to drive efficiency and project success. Key Responsibilities Dispatching & Scheduling Create and manage daily and longer-term schedules for field technicians Dispatch crews based on job priority, location, and skillset Adjust schedules for emergency calls and last-minute changes Utilize GPS tracking systems to optimize routing and efficiency Field Communication & Support Maintain constant communication with technicians throughout the workday Provide real-time problem-solving and job support Monitor job progress and help ensure timely completion Client Communication & Call Intake Handle incoming service calls and job requests Communicate scheduling updates and job status with clients Ensure professional, timely follow-up Operations & Leadership Oversee day-to-day company operations Serve as liaison between the General Manager and operational staff Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements Support company growth through process development and planning Project & Field Oversight Oversee active field projects Ensure timelines, scope, and manpower alignment Assist with issue resolution and operational decision-making Financial & Administrative Process and manage purchase orders (POs) Reconcile company credit card transactions and reports Review, correct, and submit payroll for accuracy Coordinate with accounting/management on financial documentation Vendor & Department Coordination Maintain and update vendor portals and compliance documentation Coordinate with vendors on materials and timelines Fleet & Asset Management Oversee all company vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance Ensure fleet readiness to support field operations Skills & Qualifications Strong multitasking and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with dispatching and GPS tracking tools (or ability to learn quickly) Comfortable juggling field operations, scheduling, and administrative workflows Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Financial, operational, and administrative competency Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
