Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily service operations for a team of technicians. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient scheduling and communication for service and repair work across commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, exhaust systems, beverage equipment, and commercial microwaves throughout the Tallahassee area, the Florida Panhandle, and Southwest Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and manage incoming service requests from commercial clients including restaurants, schools, medical facilities, and convenience stores Dispatch technicians based on skill set, location, urgency, and workload Prioritize emergency, warranty, and maintenance service calls Maintain real-time communication with technicians throughout the day, providing updates and schedule adjustments Track job progress and reassign technicians as needed during high-volume or emergency situations Document all service details accurately within the dispatch or scheduling system Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, technician arrival windows, and follow-ups Coordinate with parts teams to ensure technicians are equipped for service calls Assist with after-hours or weekend scheduling when needed

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills with professional phone presence Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience using dispatching systems, CRM tools, or service management software Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in dispatching, service coordination, or customer service Background in HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial equipment industries Familiarity with the Tallahassee area and surrounding regions for routing efficiency Knowledge of commercial equipment brands such as Panasonic, Amana, Sharp, TurboChef, or MerryChef
