You'll need to be able to multitask and have professional phone etiquette, be a team player, and understand Honolulu's traffic and roadways. Summary As a Tow Truck Dispatcher, you will be essential in coordinating and managing the logistics of towing services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently dispatch tow trucks while utilizing your strong communication skills and phone etiquette. Your core skills in analysis and dispatching will ensure timely responses to service requests. Additionally, your familiarity with transportation management systems and GPS technology will enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the dispatching of tow trucks to various locations efficiently. Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to track vehicle locations and optimize routes. Communicate effectively with drivers and clients via multi-line phone systems to ensure timely service. Analyze logistical data to improve dispatching processes and enhance overall service delivery. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle status updates. Qualifications Strong logistics and dispatching skills Excellent communication and phone etiquette Proficient in typing and data entry Familiarity with Honolulu traffic and roadways Experience with fleet management and supply chain processes Knowledge of vehicle mechanics
