Dispatcher (Full-time)

Illinois Valley is looking to hire a full-time dispatcher for our Tri-County Rural Transit Program in Jerseyville. This position will perform dispatch and various other program and clerical duties for the Tri-County Rural Transit Program.

Essential Functions:

Maintain up to date listing of fleet vehicles and assigned drivers. Serve as a substitute driver. Perform a variety of office and clerical support duties as assigned. Maintain regular attendance records. Keep facility clean and free of clutter. Communicate with drivers, riders, and other agencies as needed. Prepare manual and computerized files and records. Operate wheelchair lifts and restraints. Authorize route changes. Maintain confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 and have a good driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent computer and customer service skills required. Must pass background, drug, and alcohol screenings. Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance. This position includes excellent benefits and generous paid time off, as well as 13 paid holidays per year.
