Job Description

Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage our client's complex fleet operations. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in route optimization and a proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse driver pool. In this role, you won't just be following a static map. You will be the "air traffic control" for our client's drivers, ensuring that their heavy-duty long-hauls (Class A) and their local deliveries (Class B) are operating at peak efficiency.
Requirement:
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of direct experience in dynamic routing.
Fleet Knowledge:
Must have experience coordinating and dispatching both Class A (Tractor-Trailer) and Class B (Straight Truck/Box Truck) drivers.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in dynamic routing software to adjust schedules in real-time based on traffic, weather, and customer demands.
Operational Awareness:
Understanding of the differing regulatory requirements (DOT), weight limits, and maneuverability constraints between Class A and Class B vehicles. Apply today for this contract-to-hire position!
