Night Dispatcher

Summary:

The Shuttle Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching drivers and ensuring shuttle loads are transported on time and according to the plan. They monitor driver performance and coordinate with other departments to address issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

Dispatch shuttle drivers according to pre-planned routes and schedules. Monitor driver locations, traffic, and weather to ensure timely deliveries. Provide real-time support to drivers in case of emergencies, breakdowns, or delays. Communicate with the shuttle load planner and warehouse teams to ensure efficient load movements. Maintain accurate records of dispatches (paperwork + TMS updates), driver performance, and any service disruptions. Coordination and communication with customers to ensure compliance, delivery, and satisfaction.

Excellent communication and coordination skills. Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatching software. Strong decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
