Fleet Dispatcher (Direct Hire)

Direct Hire/Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate driver schedules, manage deliveries, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, dispatch experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Create, develop, and update daily driver and dispatch schedules Communicate dispatch instructions clearly and effectively to drivers Provide customers with accurate delivery updates and ETAs Understand routing and mapping to assist drivers with directions and scheduling Coordinate pick-up and delivery times with drivers and customers Enter job information accurately into the dispatch system Build and organize loads for local trucks and long-distance carriers Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication across teams Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dispatch and customer service experience required Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus Preferred Skills Problem-solving and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly Experience working in transportation, logistics, or trucking industries

Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm

Salary:

Up to $60,000 per year based on experience
