We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wholesale Fuel Dispatcher and Operations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of fuel, and maintaining efficient communication with drivers and customers. What will you do? The Wholesale Fuel Dispatcher and Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the company's fuel transportation and wholesale operations. This position oversees dispatch functions, fuel purchasing support, transportation compliance, inventory management, reporting, and customer service activities. The role serves as a key liaison between customers, drivers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient and safe delivery operations while maintaining exceptional customer service. Qualified Candidates for this position have: High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in transportation, logistics, fuel distribution, wholesale operations, dispatching, or a related field. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while also contributing as a member of a collaborative team. Proficiency with transportation management systems, dispatch software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and adaptability to changing business needs and operational demands. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive business information. Availability to support after-hours, weekend, holiday, and emergency dispatch operations as needed. This position offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package.
