Duties Coordinate dispatching of tow trucks and transport vehicles Utilize

GPS, GIS

(Geographic Information Systems), and other tracking tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and provide real-time updates to drivers and clients. Manage inbound and outbound freight shipments, including shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accuracy through data entry and documentation. Communicate effectively with drivers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining clear phone etiquette while providing instructions, updates, and support. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, vehicle status, and freight movements using systems like AS400 and transportation management software. Assist in logistics planning by analyzing supply chain data to improve transportation efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance fleet management strategies. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate shipments, resolve issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction. Skills Strong knowledge of

GIS, GPS

technology, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain logistics. Excellent analysis skills for route optimization, freight tracking, and operational troubleshooting. Proficient in dispatching procedures with experience in freight coordination and fleet management. Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and clear verbal/written expression. Skilled in data entry using Oracle Transportation Management, AS400, SyteLine, or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Ability to multitask effectively on multi-line phone systems while managing urgent requests efficiently. Familiarity with shipping & receiving protocols, 3PL operations, and transportation planning principles.
