Job Description:
The Dispatch Supervisor facilitates DirectShip operations (e.g., load planning, coordination of services with UPS Small Package operations and systems, customer relationship management, accounts payable and receivable activities, etc.). He/She supervises load planning (e.g., volume and load projections, carrier capacity commitments, booking, equipment repositioning, etc.), load forecasting, tracking, and reporting (e.g., preparing daily tracking reports and ongoing performance reports by customers, etc.). The Dispatch Supervisor anticipates and responds to customers' needs, requests, and issues. This position works closely with contingent resources supporting dock operations in a non-supervisory capacity, with no direct reports or people management responsibilities.

20C Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job.
Shift:
Supported site operations during non-peak periods on a Monday-Friday schedule from 07:00-15:30, including rotating remote Sunday coverage; during peak season, maintained availability Sunday-Friday from 09:00-18:00, with flexibility to support a 7th workday based on customer shipping requirements.
