Job Description

HVAC Technician Dispatcher:
Compensation:
$22.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Varying Saturdays. An HVAC technician dispatcher manages the daily service schedules and routes for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technicians. They act as the central communication hub, balancing technician workloads, assigning the right personnel based on skill and location, and keeping customers informed with accurate arrival times.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatching:
Assign maintenance and repair calls to field technicians, ensuring optimal routes to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
Customer Communication:
Answer incoming calls, provide appointment updates, handle urgent emergency requests, and resolve customer concerns.
Technician Support:
Relay vital job details, ensure technicians have the necessary parts and resources, and track job progress in real time.
Documentation & Billing:
Log completed job details, update customer records, and assist with processing daily work orders and invoices.
Typical Requirements Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in dispatch, customer service, or administrative roles—ideally within the HVAC or trades industry.
Skills:
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Tech Literacy:
Proficiency with dispatch software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
