Dispatch Coordinator

Novco Inc. is a small family owned and operated trucking company based in Elk River. We are currently hiring a Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in the transportation industry working in a dispatch or logistics role and be highly proficient utilizing transportation management software. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who has an interest in the transportation industry and the ability to learn and retain information quickly. Responsibilities Work in collaboration with drivers to ensure loads are delivered on time, according to client instructions while following

FMCSA/DOT

Regulations Communicate effectively with drivers, team members and clients to coordinate dispatch activities via phone, email and text Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and assist with data entry tasks Process permits for oversize and over weight loads Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum three years experience in dispatch or logistics Proficient in transportation management software and Google Workspace Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner Proficient in data entry and typing Strong memory, organizational and problem solving skills Detail orientated Benefits Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance PTO Paid Holidays Casual Attire Small office environment
