This position coordinates schedules for volunteer drivers, transit vehicles, and STS vans while serving as a primary point of contact for clients, drivers, and transportation staff. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and transportation requests in a professional and courteous manner Schedule and coordinate rides for clients using dispatch and scheduling software Communicate schedules, changes, delays, and cancellations to drivers and staff Maintain accurate records of rides, assignments, and client information Respond calmly and effectively to service disruptions or urgent situations Follow transportation program policies, eligibility rules, and confidentiality standards Work collaboratively with transportation and administrative staff Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred (dispatch, call center, transportation, or human services) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work accurately in a fast‑paced environment Basic computer, data entry, and recordkeeping skills SEMCAC is an Equal Opportunity and At‑
