Job Description

Job Summary:

What You'll Do:
Dispatch ready mix concrete in a timely manner. Provide effective customer service and dispatch support by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs, as well as fellow team members within the Customer Service and Dispatch departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispatch orders in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate with drivers and direct them to delivery locations. Work directly with surrounding areas to better service customers by utilizing multiple plants and look to share trucks. Ability to multitask and stay focused while dealing with various contractors, salespeople, dispatchers, and other personnel.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Basic computer and data entry skills for entering orders. Knowledge of Owatonna and surrounded areas. Communicate in a positive and helpful manner with a variety of customers. Ability to read and understand maps. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Three to five years' related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to perform basic math, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to apply basic computer skills.
Pay:
