Who We Need:
Open Availability:
Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Clear Communicator:
Articulate and efficient in relaying information.
Quick Thinker:
Make fast, accurate decisions in emergency scenarios.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills. Ability to stay calm under pressure & maintain composure in high-stress situations. A High School diploma or GED equivalent. One (1) year of experience ofworking with the public or in a front-facing position.
What You'll Do:
Answer Emergency Calls:
Handle 9-1-1 calls and radio communications for both Police and Fire departments with precision and care.
Coordinate Responses:
Collect and evaluate information to determine jurisdiction, equipment, and personnel to dispatch; provide critical information and support.
Utilize Technology:
Use a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to manage Calls For Services (CFS) and public inquiries.
Provide support:

Benefit statement listed below. The starting hourly wage is $20.86 per hour and will increase to $21.70 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK LOCATION
City of Branson, Missouri. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
ADDITIONAL MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must posses or be able to obtain
MULES & PST1
certification. Must be able to attend occasional required off-site training. Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson. Tattoos, Scarification, Body Art, and Body Modifications must meet City of Branson Employee Appearance at Work policy located HERE .
