Description:

Teamone is currently seeking an afternoon and evening Transportation Dispatcher who will be responsible for the overall management of the facilities shipping department across the country at their facility in Olive branch, MS. The role of the Transportation Dispatcher will be responsible for achieving high accuracy through our systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence. Duties include dispatching loads to carriers, reporting, tracking, routing, etc. Other tasks will include data entry and monitoring day-to-day operations of the logistics department to ensure that our internal freight needs and our customer requirements are both being met. The person in this role will need to have excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail.

Shift:

Monday Thru Friday 14:00PM to 23:00 PM Sat/Sun- Must be flexible for back-up coverage Please note : Peak schedule (Oct-Nov and Dec) is subject to change due to customers shipping requirements. Also during training hours may be different from regular schedule MUST have 2-3 years of experience in transportation in supply chain management Preferred Associates degree or equivalent experience Excellent computer application skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to prioritize multiple objectives Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction Proven performance record of meeting and exceeding expectations Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to be assertive and persistent while being tactful Demonstrates professionalism in speech, demeanor and dress Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for developing, generating, and distributing scheduled and ad hoc analysis and reporting. The Transportation Dispatcher will source data, perform analysis, generate reports and distribute reporting by utilizing software including Access, Excel and various Transportation Reporting applications. The Admin will communicate through oral and written communications in order to execute tasks and will have regular contact with senior management.
