In this energetic role, you will oversee the dispatching of trucks and rail containers, ensuring seamless logistics operations. Your expertise in transportation management systems, GPS tracking, and supply chain coordination will drive efficiency and reliability in freight delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your analysis skills and transportation planning knowledge to optimize fleet performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. Monitor real-time GPS data and GIS tools to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and clients via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication. Manage shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring accurate data entry into AS400 and other logistics platforms. Utilize analysis skills to troubleshoot delays, re-route shipments, and resolve logistical issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, freight movements, and fleet status for reporting purposes. Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to coordinate freight movements within the supply chain network. Requirements Strong computer skills is a must. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally. Demonstrated analysis skills for troubleshooting logistical issues efficiently. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management, and freight operations. Proficiency in data entry Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
