Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dispatcher for Medical Transportation, where your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure seamless and efficient transportation services for patients and healthcare providers. In this vital role, you will coordinate the dispatching of medical transport vehicles, manage scheduling, and communicate effectively with drivers, healthcare facilities, and patients. Your proactive approach will help deliver timely, safe, and reliable transportation solutions that make a real difference in people's lives. Responsibilities Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of medical transportation vehicles using
VETRIDE & MEDIROUTE
transportation software management systems and GPS technology to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals. Communicate clearly with drivers via multi-line phone systems, providing instructions, updates, and support throughout their shifts. Enter data accurately into VETRIDE systems to track dispatch activities, vehicle status, and patient information. Monitor real-time vehicle locations using
MEDIROUTE GPS
to adjust routes as needed for traffic or emergencies. Maintain detailed records of driver logs while ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols. Demonstrate excellent phone manner with healthcare facilities, patients, and internal teams to coordinate transportation needs efficiently while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Proficiency with GPS technology, and fleet management software to enhance dispatch accuracy. Excellent analysis skills to assess route efficiency, vehicle utilization, and operational data for continuous improvement.
Pay:
$54,250.00 - $56,500.00 per year
