9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator Red River Regional Dispatch Center - 3.0 Fargo, ND Job Details Full-time From $26.93 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Life insurance Referral program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Typing Full Job Description Public Safety Telecommunicators (PSTs) receive emergency (9-1-1) and non-emergency phone calls and dispatch appropriate Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS Units. PSTs work in an exciting 24/7 environment and there are many perks to include serving your community! Starting pay of $26.93 with automatic yearly increases Shift differential of $1/hour for evenings, nights, and weekends Overtime availability to include a shift differential overtime rate ($1.50) PSTs work 52 days less a year than your traditional 9-5 M-F work due to 10 hour shifts and 4 day works weeks. We also offer a 12 hour shift rotation which includes every other weekend off ! PTO accrual begins immediately at 5.54 hours per payroll which including holiday time, amounts to 22 days of PTO your first year! That earns you five and a half weeks of PTO your first year working! Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to type 40 correct words per minute . Candidates will be subject to pass a background check .
