In this role, you will coordinate non-emergency medical transportation services, ensuring patients are picked up and dropped off safely and on time for their appointments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent service to both patients and drivers. Responsibilities Receive and manage inbound calls for non-emergency medical transportation requests Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch drivers to patient pick-up and drop-off locations Communicate clearly with drivers regarding trip details, changes, and special patient needs Monitor driver status and ensure timely arrivals and completions of trips Prioritize trips based on appointment times and urgency Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, and customer information Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare facilities, and team members Resolve scheduling issues and delays in real time Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a dispatcher, preferably in medical transportation or logistics Strong computer, typing, and data entry skills Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure Familiarity with GPS systems and dispatching software is a plus
