Join a team that values precision, professionalism, and performance. Job Summary We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Dispatcher to join our operations team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will support daily dispatch operations, assist in driver coordination, and help ensure timely pickups and deliveries across our intermodal network. Key Responsibilities Assist lead dispatchers with scheduling and assigning loads to drivers Monitor and update load statuses in TMS (Transportation Management System) Track containers and shipments through port and rail systems Communicate with drivers regarding delivery details, delays, and updates Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and company regulations Provide support with document collection (BOLs, PODs, driver logs, etc.) Coordinate with customer service, operations, and yard teams Handle problem-solving for exceptions, delays, and load issues Qualifications 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch preferred (intermodal a plus) Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with dispatch or TMS software Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Knowledge of port/rail procedures is highly desirable High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($60,000•70,000/year based on experience) Health, dental & vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) & holidays Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding intermodal operation A supportive and experienced team environment
