Dispatcher

Central Homecare Supplies NY/ Respiratory Specialists is seeking a highly organized and motivated Dispatcher to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating deliveries, pickups, service calls, and communication between patients, referral sources, and field technicians.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch delivery technicians efficiently throughout the day. Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and service calls. Communicate with patients, families, healthcare facilities, hospices, and referral sources. Monitor delivery schedules and make adjustments as needed. Enter and update orders accurately within company software systems. Maintain communication with drivers regarding route changes and priorities. Ensure timely completion of deliveries and pickups while meeting company service standards. Assist with problem-solving and customer service issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills and data entry experience. Dispatching, logistics, healthcare, transportation, or DME experience preferred but not required. Ability to prioritize workload and remain calm under pressure. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
