We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate the efficient movement of freight and fuel deliveries. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub for drivers, customers, and vendors, utilizing advanced transportation management systems and GPS technology to optimize routes and schedules. Your proactive approach will ensure timely deliveries, smooth operations, and exceptional customer service. Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight and fuel deliveries using transportation management systems, Cargas Monitor GPS tracking systems to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and troubleshoot delays in real-time. Communicate effectively with drivers via radios to relay instructions, updates, and address issues promptly. Provide excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal teams professionally. Proven experience with transportation management systems Strong analysis skills to interpret GPS data, shipment information, and logistical reports for decision-making. Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette in a fast-paced dispatch setting. Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multi-line phone systems efficiently. Basic typing skills with proficiency in transportation planning tools such as transportation management systems or logistics software.
