(based on experience) We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to join our growing auto parts business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position is responsible for coordinating delivery drivers, managing routes, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining communication between customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and management. Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate multiple drivers throughout the day Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency Monitor delivery status and address delays proactively Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are ready for dispatch Prioritize urgent and same-day deliveries Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation Resolve delivery issues quickly and professionally Assist with scheduling and driver coverage when needed Support daily operations in a high-volume automotive parts environment Requirements Previous dispatching, logistics, transportation, or auto parts experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email Experience with dispatch software is a plus Knowledge of automotive parts is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Strong sense of urgency Team-oriented attitude Ability to make quick decisions Comfortable handling a high volume of deliveries and phone calls Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off Employee discount on auto parts Opportunities for advancement Stable, year-round employment
