SCHEDULE

Evenings, 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Weekends are a 30-day rotating schedule, 3 on calls per month SUMMARY As a Security Officer, you patrol and protect the facility, grounds, and building to preserve the peace and make employees feel safe and secure.

One year of guard or public safety experience required Demonstrated professionalism Ability to think quickly and make decisive judgments Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations

RESPONSIBILITIES

Investigation & Safety. Investigate cases of detected or reported criminal and safety matters; identify and report real or potential hazards in the environment; transfer and discharge patients as requested Parking Management. Monitor and control hospital employee and visitor parking areas

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

One year of guard or public safety experience required

REQUIRED LICENSURE

High School Diploma

OR GED NYS

Security Guard Act License (OR) Registered as a Police or Peace Officer in NYS Valid NYS Driver's license. CPR certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire. The Preventing Managing Crisis Situation (PMCS) certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
