Job Summary Energo is seeking a positive, goal-oriented Dispatcher reporting to the Vice President, Mechanical Services. This position has been structured to enable employee growth by providing exposure across multiple operations functions, including credit, customer service, collections, sales support and billing. Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organizational skills, and ability to organize and analyze data are necessary to succeed in this role. Multi-tasking is a must! Duties and Responsibilities You will be expected to devote your best professional efforts to the performance of your duties and responsibilities for Energo, and to abide by all Energo policies and procedures, as in effect from time to time. You shall be responsible for performing those duties as are customary for, and are consistent with, your position. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the service department and fuel deliveries Dispatch via email and/or phone Service Technicians, as service requests are received Calculate, track, forecast and maintain automatic oil delivery customers Debrief Customers after completion of each call (if necessary) Schedule and dispatch to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules or immediate needs Prepare daily delivery/service schedules and routes Field incoming calls/customer inquiries from current customers and prospects, while maintaining superior customer service Create and track purchase orders Communicate with supervisors, drivers, trucking subcontractors, mechanics, and customers to resolve service requests and problems Coordinate and communicate with parts vendors for pricing and parts needed by technicians, and arrange delivery of parts to the location Process daily delivery paperwork and delivery data, organize work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information Maintain service reports and logs Prepare and/or receive work orders to and from servicemen Review finished mechanical service work tickets and prepare invoices or coordinate follow-up visits Track, order, and maintain the company's fuel monitors Track and maintain the company's fuel inventory across fleet of trucks and trucking subcontractors Provide steady feedback on process improvement and efficiency Maintain customer database with current information Perform customer service responsibilities to maintain a superior level of customer satisfaction Assists with coordinating vehicle maintenance Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 1-2 years' experience with a retail fuel or heating service company required Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required Strong organization skills are required, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and tasks effectively and deliver work products on time Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment This is an in-person position and requires office attendance in our Woodside, NY office, five days per week Willingness to work after hours and weekends, as necessary, during winter seasonJob Type:
