Duties Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, providing clear information and guidance Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and composure Dispatch law enforcement units efficiently using GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to determine locations quickly Maintain accurate data entry and transcription of incident reports, call logs, and dispatch records Utilize medical terminology and first aid knowledge to assist with medical emergencies over the phone Conduct phone triage to assess situations accurately, providing instructions or escalating as needed Manage conflict resolution and negotiation during high-stress situations while maintaining calm communication Monitor security systems and coordinate with first responders during incidents or emergencies Perform analysis of call patterns to identify trends or potential issues impacting community safety Skills Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and conflict management Ability to type quickly and accurately; proficient in data entry, transcription, and report writing Knowledge of medical terminology, first aid procedures, and basic security protocols Skilled in analysis skills to evaluate situations rapidly and determine appropriate responses Familiarity with security systems, law enforcement operations, and emergency response procedures Join us in delivering critical support that keeps our communities safe!
