Job Description

Service Dispatcher Commercial Parts & Service (CPS) is looking for a Service Dispatcher to take ownership of customer service requests, coordinate technician schedules, and keep our service operation running efficiently. You'll work directly with technicians, customers, and branch leadership to ensure service calls are scheduled appropriately, communicated effectively, and completed successfully. This is not a call center role. You will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, making real-time decisions, and ensuring customers receive prompt, professional service. What You'll Own:
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests by phone and email Prioritize service calls based on urgency, customer needs, and technician availability Coordinate daily schedules and communicate assignments to service technicians Gather accurate customer and equipment information to ensure technicians arrive prepared Monitor service progress and provide updates to customers as needed Maintain accurate service records and process completed work orders promptly Partner with technicians, customers, and branch leadership to resolve scheduling and service issues Support branch performance through effective scheduling and communication Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and support business growth Help maintain an organized, professional, and efficient work environment
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of customer service, dispatching, scheduling, administrative support, or related experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including
Outlook, Excel, and Teams Preferred Qualifications:
Dispatching experience in commercial food equipment, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical service, facilities maintenance, or a related industry Experience coordinating field service technicians Familiarity with service management, dispatching, or work order software Experience supporting customer accounts and service operations Traits That Succeed in
