Dispatcher

Description We are looking for a skilled and dependable Dispatcher to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to incoming calls, assessing and prioritizing service requests and urgent issues.
• Schedule and dispatch personnel or drivers efficiently, considering workload, proximity, and job requirements.
• Monitor progress on assignments, adjust schedules as needed, and resolve real-time challenges.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication between field teams, customers, and internal departments.
• Accurately document call details, job activities, and service notes in dispatching systems.
• Provide detailed instructions to field staff, including job specifics and any special requirements. Requirements
• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch systems and other relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
