Job Description:

Overview We are seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily movement of dry bulk tanker shipments within a defined region. This role is responsible for scheduling deliveries, supporting drivers, and ensuring safe, on-time, and accurate execution of freight operations. Key Responsibilities Plan and dispatch daily loads, coordinating pickups and deliveries Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers (routing, scheduling, paperwork) Communicate with customers to manage shipment timing and service needs Monitor orders, emails, and dispatch systems to ensure accurate scheduling Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and billing procedures Support invoicing accuracy through proper documentation and load tracking Assist with freight sourcing and maintain strong customer relationships Participate in shared dispatch coverage and occasional on-call support Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in transportation, logistics, or bulk/tanker operations preferred Plastics/resin or pneumatic tanker experience a plus Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficient with basic computer systems and dispatch tools
