- Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation management systems and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate shipping and receiving activities effectively.
- Responsibilities
- Utilize transportation management systems to plan and dispatch shipments
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities
- Experience
- Previous experience in dispatching or transportation management preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
