What is Required? Fill out the on-line application and a Company representative will call you to get the process started! You must be able to engage and communicate clearly and respectfully with others and calmly / tactfully handle difficult customers and situations. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent You must have at least 1 year of experience in student transportation or more than one year of experience in a similar role in other transportation operations You must be proficient with the use of computers and software programs You must have (or we will provide you free training to get): Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements. Must have and maintain the following to be able to drive a school van or bus: A satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records A satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Passing an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical w/ tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Participate in and pass pre-employment and on-going random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment. Dispatchers play an essential role in the lives of our drivers and the children they serve.
