Dispatcher

Local Petroleum Company looking for a dayshift dispatcher.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Take customer orders by phone and email Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally Dispatch deliveries using the most efficient, cost effective, safe and compliant manner Manage driver issues including allocation problems, breakdowns and other items promptly Manage Bulk Petroleum inventories at the bulk plants and cardlock locations Assist management of customer inventories to determine when to send auto fills Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally Keep current with driver safety, equipment safety and hazmat regulations Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Superior customer service skills Ability to work independently Great attention to detail and accuracy while meeting stringent deadlines Ability to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment handling multiple projects simultaneously while remaining calm and patient Excellent phone skills providing services, support or information Assuring compliance with laws and company policies and regulations Minimum 2 years of trucking and dispatching responsibility Superior customer service skills Ability to work independently Ability to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment handling multiple projects with stringent deadlines simultaneously while remaining calm and patient Excellent phone skills providing services, support or information Thorough knowledge of various business software applications Assuring compliance with laws and company policies and regulations

Schedule/Hours:

Dayshift - Hours TBD upon hire Holiday rotation with other dispatchers Cross-train to cover for other dispatchers as needed Compensation based on experience
