Key responsibilities include optimizing fleet utilization to minimize downtime, verifying safety compliance (DOT/crew certifications), and adjusting plans based on site conditions or equipment failure.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling and Coordination:
Assigning the right cranes and qualified operators to daily and long-term construction projects.
Logistics Management:
Planning crane load-outs, transportation, and equipment movement.
Client Communication:
Acting as the primary contact for customers to understand project requirements, timelines, and changes.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensuring all operations adhere to Federal DOT requirements and that equipment is appropriate for the site. Assist with maintaining Safety Sites such as ISNet & Avetta.
Troubleshooting:
Rapidly solving issues related to site delays, weather conditions, or mechanical breakdowns.
Technology Utilization:
Using dispatch software and GPS to track crane locations and project status in real-time.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performing Site Visits to evaluate potential work and determine the best crane/equipment setup to suit the project needs. Creating comprehensive Lift Plans using 3D Lift Plan software & completing/compiling other documentation as needed to suit the Client's requirements. Quoting projects using established company rates for cranes, labor & other equipment. Email coordination with ACR employees & clients. Obtaining required travel, airspace, and street closure permits for projects. Take inbound calls to the ACR office as needed if a Salesman is not currently available. Deliver a positive and welcoming attitude with all customers. Coordinate with Mechanics for equipment downtime & regular maintenance. Work with mechanics to develop a comprehensive PM plan. Assist with obtaining required information needed for customer billing. Obtaining quotes for rigging or rental equipment as needed, approval required for all purchases over $250 from direct supervisor. Receiving and responding to emergency calls after hours. Auditing operator time tickets against billable time. Communicating with customers to confirm all jobs by 2pm the previous workday. Track all ACR storage, inventory, and hauling of customer equipment & develop a more efficient system. On an as-needed basis, run a crane or drive a CDL truck, must be approved by Supervisor and should be used as a "last resort" to keep you on track with other duties. Any other duties assigned by Management as needed to facilitate company operations. Working Conditions Full-time, office-based role, but requires early mornings, weekends, or on-call availability. Ability to lift 50 lbs, for as-needed work loading rigging or performing other duties in the yard.
Expectation of Hours:
This is a full-time position in which it is expected to be with a start time of 8am unless otherwise required for scheduled site visits or loading equipment for last-minute jobs.
