Truck Dispatcher Needed

Duties Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucks to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing routes using GPS and GIS tools Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine to track shipments, update statuses, and manage freight movements Monitor fleet management systems to ensure vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety standards Enter data accurately into shipping & receiving logs, AS400 systems, and other relevant platforms to ensure seamless information flow Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in logistics and supply chain operations Collaborate with warehouse teams on shipping & receiving schedules, freight loads, and delivery priorities Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within a transportation or logistics environment Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and fleet management software Excellent analysis skills for route optimization, freight planning, and problem-solving in fast-paced settings Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy using systems like Oracle Transportation Management and AS400 Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, freight documentation, and 3PL (third-party logistics) operations Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a high-volume environment Join us as a Truck Dispatcher and become an essential part of our vibrant logistics team!
