Dispatcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and transportation management, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in utilizing various technologies such as GPS and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation services
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Utilize transportation planning software to optimize routes
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to stakeholders
• Ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred
• Knowledge of 3PL operations and logistics industry practices
• Familiarity with phone systems and dispatch software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
