We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to become a valued member of our team. Position Summary The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating transportation services, supporting field crews, and ensuring transport requests are managed efficiently and professionally. This position requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch transport requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor transportation schedules and ensure pickups and drop-offs are completed as scheduled
- Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift
- Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes
- Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift
- Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff
- Resolve operational issues and assist with problem-solving to maintain service efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of dispatch experience in EMS or Paratransit required
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and database systems quickly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build trust in a team environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required
- High school diploma or GED required
- EMT certification preferred but not required
- Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards What We Offer
