We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to become a valued member of our team. Position Summary The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating transportation services, supporting field crews, and ensuring transport requests are managed efficiently and professionally. This position requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and dispatch transport requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Monitor transportation schedules and ensure pickups and drop-offs are completed as scheduled
  • Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift
  • Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes
  • Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff
  • Resolve operational issues and assist with problem-solving to maintain service efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed
  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of dispatch experience in EMS or Paratransit required
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and database systems quickly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build trust in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • EMT certification preferred but not required
  • Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards What We Offer
