Dispatcher / Operations Manager (Overnight Support) Full‑time Competitive Pay Northeast U.S. (preferred) About Us We are a transportation company operating in both the FedEx Ground and Amazon networks. We are growing and strengthening our leadership team, and we're looking for a Dispatcher / Operations Manager who can provide reliable overnight operational support and keep the fleet running safely and efficiently. Position Overview This role is responsible for overnight dispatch, driver coordination, schedule management, safety tracking, and compliance oversight. You will be the primary point of contact during the overnight window, ensuring smooth operations, accurate reporting, and timely communication with drivers and partner stations. Key Responsibilities Provide overnight dispatch and operational coverage Monitor routes, driver status, and timekeeping Manage call‑outs, shift adjustments, and schedule coordination Track safety data, incidents, and compliance requirements Review logs, hours‑of‑service, and documentation for accuracy Communicate with FedEx/Amazon operations teams as needed Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and vendor support Prepare overnight reports and handoff notes for the daytime team Support onboarding, training, and policy adherence Assist with maintaining a safety‑first culture across the fleet Requirements Experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to stay organized and make decisions under pressure Comfortable working independently overnight Tech‑capable: tracking systems, timekeeping tools, messaging platforms CDL experience is a plus (not required) Based in the Northeast U.S. preferred for vendor and fleet coordination Schedule Overnight shift coverage (core hours) Monday-Friday preferred Occasional weekend or on‑call support as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance‑based incentives Paid time off Opportunity to grow as the operation expands Stable overnight schedule with autonomy and responsibility Who Succeeds in This Role People who thrive in fast‑moving operational environments People who can manage multiple priorities calmly People who enjoy coordinating drivers and solving real‑time issues People who want a long‑term role with increasing responsibility How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief note about your dispatch or transportation experience.
