Non-Emergency Medical Taxi Manager/Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Non -Emergency Medical Taxi Manager/Dispatcher to oversee the coordination and dispatching of medical transportation services. In this vital role, you will ensure timely, safe, and efficient transport for patients requiring assistance. Your leadership will streamline operations, optimize routing, and maintain excellent communication with drivers, healthcare facilities, and patients. Duties Coordinate and dispatch non emergency medical transportation requests promptly using transportation management systems and GPS technology to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs Manage a fleet of medical vehicles, tracking their locations via GIS and GPS tools to optimize routes and reduce wait times Communicate effectively with drivers, patients, and team members through multi-line phone systems and professional phone etiquette Manage day to day operations like ensuring the fuel bill is paid as well as completing weekly payroll. Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics, supply chain efficiency, or routing strategies Skills Professional etiquette and ability to help plan most efficient routes for transporting clients. Effective dispatching skills with experience in multi-line phone systems and handling high-volume calls professionally Typing proficiency for quick data entry and documentation accuracy in fast-paced environments Experience working with transportation planning tools like GPS tracking or transportation management software sich as Azuga.
