As a Dispatcher, you will work with closely with our schools, and educators, dispatching substitute teachers! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and LOVE to talk with people; possess STELLAR customer service skills and have an ability to handle difficult conversations with ease. We are hiring one full time and one part time individual. What's In It For You? $16.00 - $18.00 based on experience!
Hours Range:
5:00 AM to 6:00 PM Weekdays only - no nights or weekends! Comprehensive PTO & Benefit Package (medical, dental, vision)
Location:
Position is in-office in Racine, Wisconsin. Work during the school year with a layoff from Memorial Day to Labor Day while school is out of session.
You MUST have the following:
You MUST be a team player that has a PASSION for Education and embraces a respectful and diverse culture. Two-year degree or equivalent experience. More than 2 year of customer service in a fast paced office environment. 1 year of employee management or supervision skills. Flexible to work hours as needed between 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM as needed for the department. Part time employees will work 4 hours with no lunch. Full time employees will work a 9 hour day with a 1 hour unpaid lunch hour.
Excellent computer skills:
ability to use multiple programs at once, document thoroughly, and efficiently WHILE you are speaking on the phone. High Attention to
Detail:
Fast paced ability to multitask a must.
Social:
You have to like talking to clients and employees via the phone, text and email!
Leadership Skills:
You must be able to have difficult conversations regarding attendance and coaching, remaining positive and understanding, while firm. This is an in-person position that does not accommodate remote work . All candidates must be eligible for full time employment without sponsorship. The following information is a brief overview of the major areas of accountability for this position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to work any shift Must have excellent telephone etiquette. STELLAR computer skills . Ability to execute excellent Microsoft Office products. Must be able to type quickly and with precision while on the phone. Ability to work in a very high call volume type of call center atmosphere with a sense of URGENCY . Reviews unfilled job openings through our absence management program. Places
OUTBOUND
calls to our educators by placing calls, texts, and emails for assignment dispatching. Handles INBOUND calls from clients and employees, tackling tasks with a sense of urgency. Coordinates with our clients regarding their specific school needs for assignments and ensures that the information is up to date for dispatching an educator into that assignment. Evaluate concerns and troubleshoot for coaching opportunities with employees. Works to exceed client expectations to ensure all of the school's needs were met satisfactorily. Performs quality assurance calls with educators to discuss placements, making sure that coaching and encouragement is given regularly. Performs audits of our substitute educators' files and proactively connects with our employees to obtain updates as needed. Ability to work in a very high call volume type of call center atmosphere. Collects timecards from employees, reviewing them for accuracy and submit them to the payroll department. Address employee concerns including but not limited to payrates, assignments, expectations, policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.
Other Office Duties:
Participates in general office duties such as answering the phone, making copies, and faxing information as needed. Update school calendars, rosters, and ensure that accounts are established for teachers and administrators to utilize dispatching services. Understands and works in compliance with all EEOC policies (discrimination, immigration laws, etc.) and the Company's Policies and Procedures. Establishes relationships with clients, internal staff, and assignment employees by communicating and treating them with dignity and respect. Participate in team projects to ensure operations run smoothly.
Work Relationships and Scope:
Reports directly to the Operations Manager. This position interacts regularly with schools and substitute teachers, internal employees, and management staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education/Training :
Two-year college degree required or equivalent experience. Required knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a heavy focus on
Word, Excel, and Outlook Skills and Abilities :
Meticulous attention to detail, able to multi-task and handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
Job Conditions/Work Locations :
Work is performed largely in a pleasant office environment. Hours of work will generally be during specified hours determined by levels of work. There will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, and other concerns.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods and regularly access files on the computer. Some walking, bending, stooping, and lifting of light materials - some lifting of file boxes up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
