Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, quick-thinking dispatcher and operations coordinator who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. This role is for someone who can stay calm when things get chaotic, solve problems quickly, communicate clearly, and keep operations moving forward without dropping details. This is not an entry-level "answer the phones" position. We need someone who can think critically, follow systems and instructions closely, make smart decisions under pressure, and confidently manage multiple moving parts at once. This person will play a major role in customer communication, technician coordination, operational support, after-hours call handling, and collections assistance.
What You'll Do:
Dispatch & Operations Coordination Answer incoming emergency service calls Schedule and dispatch mitigation technicians Prioritize emergency situations and route crews efficiently Coordinate inspections, monitoring visits, equipment pickups, and job scheduling Track active jobs and ensure operational flow stays organized throughout the day Maintain communication with technicians, customers, vendors, and management P roblem Solving & Customer Care Handle high-stress customer situations professionally and calmly Think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure Help solve scheduling conflicts and operational challenges in real time Maintain strong communication with customers during emergency situations Follow established procedures while adapting to changing situations Administrative & Collections Support Maintain accurate job notes and CRM updates Assist with documentation and communication related to billing and collections Follow up on outstanding balances and insurance/payment communication Help ensure jobs move efficiently from intake through payment Support leadership with organization and operational coordination On-Call Responsibilities Participate in weekend and after-hours phone coverage Answer incoming emergency calls during assigned on-call periods Assist with dispatching emergency crews after hours when needed Maintain professionalism and urgency during nights and weekends W hat We're Looking ForCore Traits Strong problem solver who can think on their feet Extremely organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure and comfortable in high-stress situations Able to follow instructions and operational systems closely Strong communicator with confidence on the phone Naturally proactive and solutions-oriented High level of urgency, accountability, and professionalism Comfortable multitasking in a fast-moving environment P referred Experienc e Dispatching or scheduling experience Restoration, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, or home service industry experience Experience with collections, billing support, or insurance communication Customer service or call center background CRM or scheduling software experience S chedule Expectations Full-time position Must be available for rotating weekend and after-hours on-call coverage Emergency service industry experience or comfort with non-traditional schedules is strongly preferred T he Right Person For This Role The ideal candidate is someone who loves solving problems and bringing organization to chaos. They are dependable, mentally sharp, and able to remain composed when things get busy. They take ownership, communicate well, and genuinely enjoy helping customers while keeping operations running efficiently behind the scenes. This person will become one of the central communication and coordination points inside the company and will play a critical role in both customer experience and operational success.
