2+ years of prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center roles preferred Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Proficiency with ServiceTitan, Chirp, Slack Ability to stay calm, professional, and decisive in fast-paced situations Team-focused mindset with commitment to supporting customers and consultants
Position Summary:
The Dispatcher at Summit Roofing & Restoration coordinates schedules , manages call flow , and maintains smooth communication between the office and field teams. They ensure jobs run on time, customers stay informed, and consultants have the information they need to succeed through proactive coordination and detail-focused support . The ideal candidate is organized , calm under pressure , and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment . They communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail , and thrive in a role where teamwork , consistency , and customer care are essential.
Work Environment:
Full-time (35+ hours weekly), with mandatory overtime as needed Typically Monday-Friday; occasional mandatory weekends No guaranteed hours; overtime paid beyond 40 Weather shutdowns require communication with supervisors Job expectations and schedules may change at Summit's discretion
Core Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Call Flow Monitor ServiceTitan, Chirp, Slack, and Contact Center Pro throughout the day Answer calls and assign Roofing Consultants based on availability, location, and job priority Adjust schedules proactively to avoid gaps, overlaps, and missed appointments Prioritize callbacks, warranty work, emergencies, and sales opportunities Communication Confirm consultant departures, arrivals, and job timelines Call customers with arrival confirmations, delay updates, and in-route notifications Maintain real-time communication with field teams and office staff Documentation & Reporting Ensure job records include complete notes, photos, payments, and follow-ups Track consultant locations throughout the day Submit end-of-day summaries, confirm job completion, and prepare next-day first calls Customer Support Handle reschedules with urgency and professionalism Keep customers informed throughout each stage of service Support smooth transitions during delays or after-hours needs
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
