TRUCK DISPATCHER

— Alberty Trucking LLC (Knoxville, TN) Alberty Trucking is a small, growing carrier hauling bulk and tote freight across the southeast. We run a modern operation — real-time GPS, electronic logs, and our own route-planning software — and we're looking for a sharp Truck Dispatcher to keep our fleet moving and our drivers legal, safe, and on time. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll run dispatch for 3-7 trucks across three states and work directly with our operations leadership — not get lost as a cog at a mega-carrier.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Plan and dispatch daily loads for our company fleet across TN, LA, and TX Build efficient routes and adjust on the fly for delays, breakdowns, and new orders Keep drivers legal and safe — monitor hours-of-service (HOS) and ELD compliance using Motive Be the central point of contact between drivers, customers, and freight brokers Cover loads with the right mix of our own trucks, brokered carriers (rate confirmations), and LTL when needed Track every load from pickup to delivery and communicate status proactively Capture and follow up on delivery paperwork (BOLs, scale tickets, COAs) so loads invoice cleanly Coordinate customer pickups at our yards and inbound raw-material pickups Work in our in-house dispatch and route-planning system (we'll train you) alongside Motive

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1+ year of dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experience Working knowledge of

DOT/FMCSA

regulations and hours-of-service (HOS) rules Experience with any TMS and/or ELD platform (Motive, Samsara, McLeod, Rose Rocket, etc.) — we'll train you on ours. Strong organization and communication, and the ability to stay calm and prioritize when things change fast Comfortable with computers and Excel, and quick to pick up new software High school diploma or

GED A PLUS

) Experience with bulk chemical, sulfur, tanker, or hazmat freight A CDL or prior driving experience — you understand the road from the driver's seat Dispatching across multiple states or regions Familiarity with broker rate confirmations and load boards
