About us Personal Lawn Care has provided weed control and fertilization services for Memphis area properties since 1987. Our technicians are certified, skilled, and use properly registered and approved products. As a family owned and operated company, we established our mission on the belief that our clients come first - always. Doing the right thing the first time, they never have to worry when they choose to work with us. Dispatch Manager Qualifications / Responsibilities This is a full-time position. (Paid holidays and Personal Days.
ONE WEEK
paid vacation after first year) Applicant must be drug free and willing to submit to random drug testing. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for making decisions that will direct and lead the work of the technicians in the field. The position requires performing a variety of complex tasks and is ultimately responsible for aiding in scheduling the work in the field through a dispatch process. Applicant must have ability to multi-task, strong communication skills and the ability to write professional emails. Applicant must become familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. They must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Applicant must have experience in Customer Service and will be expected to contact clients via telephone. In summary, the Dispatch Manager is responsible for managing the technicians" schedules as well as the production goals of the field personnel. This is a fast-paced position that involves many moving parts, requiring someone who has above average organization and prioritization skills. Applicant should be teachable, dependable, have a positive attitude as well as be able to problem solve simple tasks.
Job Functions:
Utilizes computerized work order and other systems to determine and route job assignments for field personnel; Accounts for the scheduled work and maintains knowledge of the status and location of the field personnel throughout the workday; Receives requests for service, evaluates type of work or assistance needed, establishes workforce priorities in line with company policies and dispatches or redirects appropriate field personnel to achieve proper response; Performs related duties as assigned. Has a significant goal to maximize fieldwork performance and improve technical productivity, as well as providing effective customer support over the telephone.
