Specializing in logistics solutions, the company provides professional services for dry and refrigerated over-the-road shipments, in addition to intermodal and air freight services. Strategically located in a key transportation hub, Addison Transportation is committed to ensuring efficient and reliable services to meet diverse client needs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Addison, TX. The Dispatcher will manage and coordinate the scheduling of shipments, communicate with drivers and customers, track deliveries, and address any logistical challenges that may arise. Responsibilities also include monitoring shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining updated records of transportation activities. The Dispatcher will work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient freight handling and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in logistics and transportation management, including knowledge of over-the-road, intermodal, and air freight solutions. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and team members. Data management and recordkeeping skills, with knowledge of transportation management software (TMS) being a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site team environment in Addison, TX. Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
